Terms & Conditions


Payments & Fee's

  • In order for your child's space to be kept in our classes, payment is required monthly in advance, by subscription only.
  • Registering through class4kids and setting up a subscription is the only payment method Dynamic Dance Academy will accept for monthly fee's. We will no longer accept cash/cheques or bacs payments.
  • If a student joins half way during the month their fee's will be adjusted accordingly
  • We reserve the right to make changes to the amount and collection date if necessary. In this instance you will be notified via email prior to any change.
  • Payment will be taken from the account you specify on the 1st/2nd of every month. Failure to make payments on time may result in your child losing their space in their chosen class(es). If you are having trouble with payments please speak to a member of our team.
  • Payments have been averaged out from August 22-June 23 (This means that payment will be the same every month regardless of how many weeks are in the month and if we are off for our October/Christmas & Easter break)
  • The subscription system ensures everyone pays on time and saves time on admin & chasing fee's as previously 70% of our fee's have been paid very late.
  • Fee's are non-refundable.
  • We offer several class discounts & class packages which will be applied once you have registered with us.
  • Bronze class pass (4 classes per week) £58 per month
  • Silver class pass (5 classes per week) £68 per month
  • Gold class pass (6 classes per week) £78 per month
  • Platinum class pass ( 7+ classes per week) £88 per month
  • Private lessons are available on request at the price of £12.50 per 30 mins. To book private lessons email dynamicdanceacademy@live.co.uk
  • Provided you pay your monthly membership payments, you will automatically be re-booked into the next term without having to re enter your payment details.

Cancellation

  • Should your child wish to cancel one of their classes then we require one month's written notice via email to dynamicdanceacademy@live.co.uk
  • Any classes that fall under 5 students in total are subject to being cancelled.
  • All unattended lessons are still payable. Substitute lessons can be arranged when applicable.

Uniform

  • Dynamic Dance Academy branded uniform is available to order via email to dynamicdanceacademy@live.co.uk - Payment must be paid at the time or order. No uniform will be ordered without payment being received first.
  • Other leotards/tights/shoes can be purchased from local dance retailers or online.
  • No Jewellery or accessories should be worn to class.
  • Hair must be neatly tied away from students face & must be in a bun for all ballet classes.
  • Correct uniform & shoes MUST be worn to EVERY class.
  • Any student wishing to participate in our dance show & other performances are required to purchase/hire costumes.

Discipline

  • Pupils are always expected to conduct themselves in a disciplined manner whilst attending classes and be respectful to both teachers and fellow pupils. This will ensure the safety and well-being of everyone.
  • Dynamic Dance Academy aim to provide the very best training and will implement fun discipline to do this. If we feel that a student is being distruptive on a regular basis we will issue a verbal warning, if this continues we will speak to parents/guardians about the matter.
  • Unruly & disruptive behaviour in class will not be tolerated. We have a strict anti bully policy in place and expect our students to adhere to this.
  • Our staff will not tolerate aggressive or disrespectful behaviour from Parents or students. We aim to treat everyone with respect and appreciate the same in return.
  • If a student or parent displays consistent disruptive, unruly or aggressive behaviour, their membership will be terminated.

General

  • Dynamic Dance Academy has a commitment to ensure that the equipment and activities are of value and worth to everyone regardless of race, culture, language, gender, age, experience, religion, background, ability or disability.
  • If you wish for your child to wait unattended for a class, we cannot be held responsible for them. We cannot be held responsible for pupils outside of our class. e.g if you wish for your child to go home unsupervised, that is your responsibility.
  • Dynamic Dance Academy will endeavour to run classes during bad weather e.g. snowy conditions. However, should we need to cancel due to safety concerns, parents will be notified/contacted (please check our Facebook page and make sure your email address is kept up to date on our register). An additional class will be offered if we must cancel a class.
  • Any student found using a mobile phone will have the phone confiscated and returned at the end of the lesson. Mobiles are not permitted in the studio, unless being used for learning purposes.
  • No valuables to be brought to classes we will not accept any responsibility for any losses incurred on the premises.
  • Food and fizzy drinks are not permitted in the studio, water only to be brought into class.
  • Parents are not permitted to watch classes, however there are several opportunities throughout the year to view your child’s progress.
  • The school reserves the right to change timetables, staff, and also any shows/display days if deemed necessary.
  • On the rare occasion that the teacher is unavailable to give any scheduled lesson, and a supply teacher cannot be arranged, the lesson will be carried forward to another date. 
  • Parents should be aware that physical contact maybe necessary by the teacher and fellow pupils when training dancers.
  • Students should arrive on time to lessons & be collected on time.
  • Parents are asked to keep their children at home if they have a serious infection, We cannot offer a refund for a lesson missed due to illness.
  • Promotional pictures and footage will be taken throughout the year during classes, we will request a written request if you do NOT wish for your child to take part.
  • Parents & Pupils should not contact teachers through their personal social media pages.
  • Dynamic Dance Academy’s communication is made via email and social media.  Please ensure you follow our social media platforms for recent updates and continue to check junk/spam email folders. It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to keep up to date with all relevant information regarding their child.
  • All events are a choice, therefore participation is not compulsory. All event fee's are non-refundable.
  • Dynamic Dance Academy reserves the right to change the timetable, staff, and any show/display or exam days if deemed necessary.
  • We cannot accept responsibility for any injuries incurred during class, teachers will ensure students are learning and progressing in a safe manner.
